Great Shasta Rail Trail News
Burney Trailhead of northern California's Great Shasta Rail Trail opens onSaturday, June 2 during a 10:00 a.m. celebration. The trail is located between Burney in Shasta County and McCloud in Siskiyou County. We expect many regional and out-of-state recreationalist to use the trail and spend money in neighboring communities. The economic benefit to local, rural communities has significant potential. Studies indicate bicyclists spend an average of $30 to $100 per day, per cyclist in small communities. You are encouraged to promote the long-awaited trailhead opening. Your support is important to attracting recreationalists to the trail and opening day activities onJune 2 and in the future. In advance, thank you for your support of the Great Shasta Rail Trail. Please contact Bill Campbell at (530) 339-1048 or via return email for additional information.
Happy Trails! Bill Campbell email@example.com
